Gerald Anderson is on a roll this year since Always Be My Maybe. And now with How To Be Yours, he is definitely at par with Bea Alonzo's acting chops. I liked this movie. It was so painful to watch as it shows how reality gets the best of two people who love each other. The story didn't feel contrived nor convoluted. I loved the camera work and the film was beautifully shot. To sum it up, this might be another run-of-the-mill, formulaic romcom vehicle for Star Cinema, but this is a prototype. Dan Villegas did a great job!
